Privacy Policy

This policy explains how RotorCare processes information provided through the app and related company-management services.

1. Information we process

2. How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users; provide aircraft, maintenance, and due-status features; synchronize data; support company collaboration; respond to requests; maintain service security; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

3. Sharing and service providers

We do not disclose information except as needed to provide RotorCare, at your direction, or when required by law or necessary to protect users and public safety. Service providers may process limited information under our instructions, including cloud hosting and file storage, and Alibaba Cloud SMS for verification messages requested by users. We do not authorize these providers to use the information for their own advertising.

4. Where information is stored and security

RotorCare servers and related cloud services are located in mainland China. Information sent between the app and the service is transmitted over HTTPS. The app also keeps certain records and settings in its protected storage on your device for offline access. Operation-log request fields are redacted to protect passwords, verification codes, tokens, phone numbers, and email addresses. If you enable offline unlock, the app may use iOS system biometrics, such as Face ID or Touch ID, or your device passcode. Biometric processing is handled by the operating system and device security hardware; RotorCare does not access, collect, or store biometric templates or biometric data. The app receives only the local authentication result to decide whether cached records may be viewed. Access controls and authentication are used to reduce unauthorized access. If you use RotorCare outside China, information you submit may be transferred to and processed in China.

5. Retention and account deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can initiate account deletion in the app. When the request succeeds, deletion is completed immediately: account access is disabled, account contact and profile identifiers are anonymized or removed, company and aircraft access is revoked, and the app clears saved sign-in state and local account data on the device where deletion is completed. Aircraft, maintenance, company, safety, and audit records may be retained where needed for applicable law, aviation recordkeeping, security, or dispute resolution, for the necessary purpose and period. Retained records are restricted and are not used to keep the deleted account active. See Account Deletion for details.

6. Your choices and rights

You can review or update available profile information in the app and contact us to request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of personal information. Some aviation or company records may remain where retention is legally required. You can also stop using the app and sign out; uninstalling the app removes its local data but does not delete server-side account information.

7. Children

RotorCare is designed for aircraft owners and aviation professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will publish material changes here and, where appropriate, notify users in the app. For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@rotorkeep.com.
